Let's have a quick review of the Revolutionary War and what lead the Colonists to declare independence! Click on the powerpoint link below.

Independence Power Point

Jean Fritz, a writer of historical biographies, has written several books about famous people who lived during our colonial period and the Revolutionary War.  In our classroom, we will read about some of these famous people who helped us obtain our independence:  Paul Revere, Patrick Henry, John Hancock, King George (yes, he helped by creating all those taxes), Ben Franklin, Benedict Arnold, and Samuel Adams.
