Process

Read through all the stages before beginning your work.

First Stage:

You will select an inventor from the list and decide about which one you wish to learn more.

    1. Review the suggested links that have been provided for you.
    2. Inform Mrs. Lange about your selection by writing the inventor's name down and turning it into her by Friday, January 14th.

    In the second part of this stage, you will access the links provided in the resource section and answer the following questions. The answers to the following will be included in your written report.

    3. Who is your inventor? When was he/she born?
    4. What did your inventor create?
    5. When was the invention created? Was it patented?
    6. Where did the inventor live?
    7. How did this invention help society?
    8. Include a reaction to what you have learned about your inventor.
    9. Did the inventor encounter any obstacles in creating his/her product? What were they? How did he/she overcome them?
    10. How did the inventor come up with his/her idea?

Second Stage:

    1. You will prepare a five paragraph report about your inventor.
    2. Create a bibliography.
    3. Attach the bibliography to the report and turn it in by Tuesday, January 18.
