Thank you for attending my session on motivating children to read at the SCIDA, SCISA or SCASL conference .
I hope you came away with several strategies to try with your students or children. If you did not pick up print
materials or a cd at the conference, or if you misplaced any of the handouts, this blog will provide you with links to
the handouts and the powerpoints discussed at the session.
At the top of this home page, you will find links to the materials that I used in my presentation. The powerpoint
presentation is available along with my powerpoint on literary genres at the conference links. Also, the reading lists
from the 2007-08 South Carolina Book Awards committees may be found there. The powerpoints are large files.
You may want to right click and "save as" instead of opening directly from the webpage. The 2008-09 South Carolina Book
