I received my Master of Education in Divergent Learning from Columbia College, Columbia, South Carolina. My under-graduate
degree was earned at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas. I received a Bachelor of Music Education with
a concentration in voice, secondary in piano. I am certified as a music specialist, K-12.
I have thirty graduate hours from the Citadel, Charleston, South Carolina which include:
- Recognizing and Remediating Language Disabilities
- Multi-Sensory Language Instruction for the Dyslexic
- Several courses dealing with working with at risk-youth individually and in groups as well as intervention strategies
